“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross and follow me”.
Christianity comes with a challenge. Most people think that as Christians, life is supposed to be rosy the moment you accept Christ as your Lord and saviour. This is not true! The challenges we face make us strong and God knows them. As the Holy Spirit gives out his gifts, according to our spiritual capabilities so does God the father leaves us to face our challenges because He knows we can over come them.We complain about the cross we bear but don’t realise it is preparing us for the dip in the road. God can see and do all things.Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine after the rain. Perhaps you may stumble, even fall; but God is always ready to answer your call. The saviour is waiting somewhere above to give His grace and send you his love. God promises a safe landing not a calm passage. May The Lord be with us, as we get to know Him more…..Amen!
